This is a start of a small venture and a dream that hopefully in time will have an impact to create a platform where our bit of creating and making can be a catalyst through commerce to benefit and develop a wider community.
We support the human desire to create, the expression of beauty through creating with passion, art as a tool, form and function working together and commerce as a vehicle for action and insight in the aid of creating a better world.
We would love to make a difference and create opportunities to skill and benefit others. My personal dream being, starting a welding school where while creating hanging chairs and products we also skill a person, so that he or she can have it as an asset for the rest of their life.
We also support products that are created by hand, demonstrating the unique skill of the artisan and support one-of-a-kind pieces, and variance in design due to the process of hand crafting. In a world of homogenized mass production, slower designed, handmade products require less energy than mass-produced items and often last longer, reducing the cycle of waste in our “throw-away” culture.
Studio Stirling would love to work with people and groups in the future to include some of their artistic skill in manufacturing products like cushions, fabrics and co-creating products.
We aspire to be part of a global exchange where creativity, creation, spirit, sustainability, culture, currency, and education coexist.
