Our Story
Joanina and David Pastoll started Studio Stirling in 2015. Both have since sadly passed away.
Adelle Wapnick took over as CEO. Adelle and Joanina first worked together 30 years ago when they started the design and advertising agency Cross Colours. Their multi award-winning agency was successful for 20 years until they sold it to IPG network in 2014.
Both high in energy, they loved all forms of visual communication and were keen observers of current developments in many related fields. Joanina went on to design luxury hanging furniture—a passion that she had for a long time—even returning from a trip with a hanging chair in tow.
Adelle left after the sale to begin Executive Coaching, a practice she has maintained since. Adelle joined Joanina’s business to assist with growth, and became the owner of the business after Joanina’s passing. She continues to strive to honour her friend and the artform she created.
